TELUS Makes It Easy to Roam with US EASY ROAM

Since the introduction of the Rogers "Roam Like Home" package and competitive carriers such as WIND, more and more customers are seeking a plan that covers them when they are travelling in the US. For residents in border towns this is almost a requirement to fit into our life style. We have been waiting a long time for TELUS to come to bat with something and now they have.

US Easy Roam is a $7/day feature that gets added to your monthly bill when you are travelling in the US. This feature takes your current rate plan and makes it borderless. For example if you have 1GB of data in your plan, you will be able to use the data in the US without getting dinged for roaming charges.

TELUS customers can add the Easy Roam feature by text or through their TELUS My Account online. This is not a feature that is automatically incorporated to every plan. Once you have the Easy Roam feature added, you can Roam Free. The $7/day fee is only charged when you use your phone in the US, so no need to call in every month to have the feature removed from your account.

Not for you? No big deal. TELUS still has US Combo Passports available for 30-day periods. This feature is ONLY available on TELUS Consumer Rate Plans. No news on what will be available for Business and Corporate Clients.
