Feel Fit in 2015
Most of us have either started our New Year's resolution to get fit, but some may still be on the fence. At TELUS, the focus for 2015 is Fitness. Here are some great apps that can help you kick your butt into shape:
Fitbit
With the use of any Fitbit device, the Fitbit app can track distance, steps, floors climbed, calories burned, food/water intake and sleeping patterns. Use this app to challenge your friends to a walk off and get badges for achievements. Fitbit keep you motivated all day long.

My Fitness Pal
My Fitness Pal is the most popular app n the market for tracking your meals. Use the barcode scanner or enter your foods in manually. The catalogue on the app is quite extensive, even including franchise restaurant nutritional information. You'd be surprised to see how many calories are in a Non-Fat Frap! My Fitness Pal also tracks your daily exercise and deducts those calories from your daily goal. If you have iPhone, the app will input this information into HealthKit to give you an idea of the different nutrients you are consuming (protein, sodium, fats).

Nike Training Club
You don't have to have pair of Nikes to love this app. Nike Training Club takes their Nike+ running app and takes it to the next level. Chose from more than 100 full-body workout routines with step by step video instruction. If you already have the Nike+ running app, this will add to your Nike Fuel score. This app will help you get lean, toned and strong.

Zombie, Run!
Need some motivation to get up and go for a run? The Zombie, Run app tracks your run, but also doubles as a mission to save the human race. The further and faster you go, the more supplies you collect in this fitness/game based application. Get the best of both worlds, a fitness tracker and a Clash of Clans type game.
