Transfer an iCloud Back up to Samsung

Samsung has been stepping up when it comes to transferring content seamlessly from a non-Samsung device with their Smart Switch program. Now, they make it easier to transfer content from an Apple device via their Mobile App version.

1.       Download Samsung Smart  Switch App- On the Google Play Store on the new Samsung device, download the app. Just search for “Samsung Smart Switch”.
2.       Pick your restore method – After the app has been installed, open it . You will see two options, restore from Galaxy or restore from iCloud. Select iCloud.
3.       Log in- From here it will ask you to log in with your iCloud or Apple ID credentials
4.       Restore – After logging in, it will ask what you want to restore from your iCloud back up. Most things will be restored (Pictures, Call Logs, Bookmarks, Alarms, Contacts, Calendars, Notes, Saved Wifi settings, Wallpaper and App lists). Keep in mind only App Lists will be transferred, not the apps themselves. For Music or Video transfers, use the Samsung Smart Switch PC or MAC version.

5.       Complete- Hit Done
